Kingo is looking for highly ambitious and analytical interns who are ready to help design the Company’s regional market road-map and change millions of lives in emerging countries.

Kingo has the goal of illuminating more than 1,000,000 homes by 2021. In order to reach this mission, Kingo must expand operations in Latin America and jump across the water into Africa and Asia. The question is, what regions do we target first? As Global Market Analyst, you will collect and analyze data from a large sample of countries and create a detailed plan. Furthermore, the whole future of Kingo will rely on YOUR analysis.

For example, you will be asked to identify “perfect storm” regions that have criteria that can indicate a high chance of Kingo’s success. You will look for criteria like: high concentrations of people without electricity, good solar exposure, safety, a minimum level of income. Additionally, there will be a lot of other unexpected factors that you will need to take into account (i.e. local politics, competitors). While getting hold of this data will require an entrepreneurial spirit and great research abilities, understanding the data and creating a road-map will require advanced analytical skills, excel proficiency, and use of statistics.
